Euro have history (lots of). It’s the Old World, the cradle of civilisation. There are the “fact histories”, legends and tales. It’s where the humanity grown. It’s secular and contemporary.

My first question would be “Why do we need a brand for Europe?”.

History.
Culture.
Arts.
Philosophy.
Human rights.
Freedom.
Multiculturalism.
Moderate and sophisticated in style.
Finally united, but still so rich in beautiful specifics.
Wonderful.
Gracious.
Unique.

Dear Wally, we found it: It’s all about the European SOUL! That is the binding element. We have been working on this for 5 years and you are correct, it is actually quite simple. Europe is the “land of the soul” as America is the “Land of the free”. Please have a look at our Fashion and Lifestyle brand MAXHENKELL EUROPE and feel, feed and spread the SOUL. Would love to talk to you. Best, Patrick Ribbentrop.

Branding Europe is like branding Amazon.
In a post-national Europe (not without, but beyond the nation) , citizenship + loyalty + sense of belonging operate at multiple levels. And this is what makes the European project different from anything else.
Branding Europe is not like branding Coca-Cola, it is like branding Amazon = a wishlist for framework.
Would love to have another chat with you and Jeremy!
Best, Julie Aveline.
