We are very pleased to announce that our project for Cepsa Stations won, not one, but three consecutive awards:
1. The Lighting Design Awards, “the longest running award program recognizing architectural lighting design excellence”.
2. The Illuminating Awards from the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of North America, rewarding “the latest, most innovative lighting technologies, with a focus on judicious use of energy in all lighting applications”.
3. The IALD Excellence & Sustainability Award in San Diego, which “honors lighting design that reaches new heights, moves beyond the ordinary, and represents excellence in aesthetic and technical design achievement”
The awarded work is a whole new service station concept focused on user experience and energy efficiency, but also enhancing differentiation and recognition. You can check the complete case study here for more details.
The design team included Saffron for the creative direction, Tangerine for the early concept phase, LAC ingenieros for the structural design and definition, Malka+Portus for the architectural design, and Rafael Gallego - Aureolighting for lighting design.
It’s been a real pleasure working with all these companies and it’s wonderful to see some recognition for all this work. Congratulations to everyone involved!
