Who we are beyond the studio

Women worldwide only have <a href="https://www.unwomen.org/en/news-stories/press-release/2026/03/no-country-in-the-world-has-reached-full-legal-equality-for-women-and-girls" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">64%</a> of the legal rights of men, according to the United Nations Economic and Social Council. To show our support for the rights and dignity of all women to be whatever and whoever they want to be, women across Saffron shared an aspect of their identities outside of our studios. Strategists, designers, marketers, culture shapers—but also artists, makers, explorers, athletes, and more. Every one of us, man and woman, is multi-faceted. Uplifting everyone’s right to shape these dimensions, and then valuing what surfaces, results in a culture and a society that’s richer and brighter. Keep pushing forward. Sewing is a new creative outlet for me. I enjoy playing with patterns, colours, textures and shapes and seeing how they come together in something functional and dimensional. It’s tactile, experimental, and a nice way to let ideas take form while I spend a quiet afternoon sewing and hanging out with my dog.

Through drawing and art journaling, I turn our everyday moments into shapes and colours, expressing myself and creating memories my children can hold onto forever.

I have always loved manual work and wanted to do ceramics since forever. My journey started with watching videos of people creating beautiful things, and I needed a hobby that would help me decompress and relieve the stress of daily life. I found out that ceramics are a great vehicle for that, so I started with a few courses until I became a member of a studio that allowed me to experiment and continue working on different projects. Currently, I'm working on a sake set, coffee mugs and a dinnerware set, and you can find me most Tuesdays and Sundays in my studio.

My background as a designer runs through my painting. I work with the same logic: refine, distil, keep only what is essential. I aim to say more with less, reduce noise and focus intention. As in good design, every decision matters; nothing is decorative, each stroke serves a purpose.

By no means am I an expert hiker, but I absolutely love the challenge of reaching the summit or completing a circuit. It satisfies my curiosity to explore new landscapes, be almost alone in nature, disconnect off the grid, and push through my fear of heights on the tricky bits! It is truly one of the only times I realise I am 100% in the moment, without my mind chasing a million thoughts. And when I finally reach the end, I feel a massive sense of achievement—one that depends entirely on myself.

My art practice is rooted in movement and dance. Through these embodied experiences, I translate gestures and rhythms into material form, painting in oils and shaping clay into vessels of motion. I am endlessly curious by what moves me; it is through this fascination that form finds its way into my work.

Most weekends, you’ll find me in Cataluña, working at a celler and a vineyard where I craft and share my own natural wine with friends.   
It’s a hands-on, beautifully unpredictable process that I truly love. Winemaking is a vital outlet for me; a space to experiment, recharge, and create something entirely my own.

I’m not a competitive rider, I just love escaping to the countryside whenever I can. Horse riding helps me switch off, get muddy, and reconnect with nature and myself. Horses demand presence; they simply won’t cooperate if you’re distracted, which is probably why it works so well as my reset button.  
Since becoming a mum, finding time for it feels like coordinating a military operation. My children are basically my second full-time job! That’s why every ride now feels like a small, joyful act of reclaiming a part of me.

Reading indulges my curiosity and lets me inhabit endless identities.

Outside of the strategy team, I am a tropical fruit enthusiast. A good writer needs to be able to tap into life's zest at any given moment, so I like to keep myself as satiated as possible. And while Spain is very lucky to have beautiful seasonal fruit, I find myself in my natural habitat when spotting tropical fruit in the wild. Can anyone guess what this science fiction-like fruit is, and where it was found?
