The annual Design Nation conference connects top design-driven students with leading creative executives from agencies and brands like Stuart Weitzman, Airbnb, Figma and Instagram. The meeting aims to empower the next generation of designers with relationships and tangible skill sets so they are better equipped to change their careers, and the world, with design.
Saffron co-founder and CEO Jacob Benbunan participated in the 'Design Solutions' panel at the Design Nation conference in New York City. Benbunan sat down with Eddie Opara, Partner at Pentagram, and Andy Baron, Executive Creative Director at Turner Duckworth, for a conversation involving the big questions facing design and technology today and where the intersection of these fields will lead tomorrow.
Benbunan commented, ‘Malcom X said that the future belongs to those who prepare for it today. As a long-standing practitioner, there is no greater satisfaction than to share one’s experience with a group of engaged and intellectually curious university students. I enjoyed being there, sharing the floor with Mr. Opara and Mr. Baron, and contributing to the conversation.’
