AlphaSense knows AI. For over a decade, their powerful engine and teams of experts have been delivering the insights key decision makers need most. 
While leading global corporations were using the platform every day for market intelligence, new competitors meant AlphaSense needed to rise above the pack. They needed to be seen not as ‘just another AI tool’ but as the platform of choice for anyone who had to make a business decision that matters, no matter their role.
AlphaSense had grown teams and capabilities across continents in only a few years. They needed a partner who could bring their positioning up to speed with their offer, and help them imagine the future of their brand. Together, our goal was to elevate and modernise the identity while preserving the hard-earned recognition, trust, and respect they’ve cultivated.

From Complexity to Clarity

Understanding the diverse needs of AlphaSense's audiences—spanning investors, researchers, and enterprise buyers—was paramount. We interviewed people across the business, from new hires all the way to founder Jack Kokko to truly understand AlphaSense’s direction of travel as a business. 
Our approach involved gaining a deep understanding of their present context and future aspirations, a vision which extended beyond transforming business intelligence to fundamentally changing how crucial decisions are made. Our response was a strategic approach called ‘brand futures’, four potential grounds for growth, with levers the AlphaSense team could adjust as they explored different ambitions. From these four futures, we started building the foundation of the new brand.
Central to our strategy was identifying AlphaSense’s value proposition: Simplifying Complexity. This guiding idea shaped the entire development process: the transformation of complex information into clear insights.

Three key brand behaviours—Radical Simplicity, Quiet Confidence, and Easy Access—to embody this promise. Workshops, both in person and online, helped us not only understand where AlphaSense wanted to play, but served as a holistic entry point to discussions on how the brand would live and behave, critical elements that would shape the brand to come.

A transformative system

The evolved AlphaSense visual identity embodies this strategy by designing through simplicity and communicating with intention. The new brand system is streamlined and bold, capturing the transformation from complexity to clarity. It conveys the process of converting seemingly disparate and complex data into clear, actionable insights. 
A conscious decision was made to retain, evolve and build upon existing assets such as the AlphaSense wordmark and the AlphaSense blue. From these foundations, new assets enable the AlphaSense brand to show up in more places.

The new visual language effectively merges human intelligence with machine precision, creating a scalable system that seamlessly integrates across all touchpoints, including marketing, communications, product, and overall experience.
From the website to social, the new AlphaSense brand moves with purpose. Driven by precision, not decoration—designed to reinforce the clarity our users experience when using the platform.
