Saffron’s collaboration with City of Vienna, celebrated as ‘the world’s most liveable city,’ has been selected as an outstanding global branding example. The work will be featured in the book as a case study and as a special presentation of place branding.
Our ambitions with the City of Vienna were comprehensive: to enhance services for residents, city employees, businesses, and students, while reinforcing Vienna’s modernity, and uniting civil servants around a shared vision.
This updated sixth edition of ‘Designing Brand Identity’ is a must-read for branding professionals. It simplifies branding, covers the essentials, and offers a practical roadmap for creating enduring and successful brands. The book is organised into three sections—brand fundamentals, process basics, and case studies. Co-authored with Rob Meyerson, it includes 50+ new case studies, over 100 branding topics, and features 800+ images, diagrams, and examples.
Hats off to the designer behind the book’s cover, Eddie Opara of Pentagram. Jacob Benbunan, Saffron’s CEO and co-founder, joined Eddie on stage at the Design Nation conference in NYC this past April, and we’re thrilled to see Eddie’s creative touch enrich this edition.
